Brief History of WAPCMLS
The College was founded by a resolution of delegates from West Africa at the 29th World Congress of International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Science (IFBLS) held in Nairobi, Kenya on 10th June 2010. VISION
WAPCMLS aims to produce Medical Laboratory Science specialists of the highest standards who will provide world class services in healthcare delivery, diagnostic reagents production, teaching and professional research in human and animal health services.
 
MISSION
To plan and implement postgraduate programmes required to produce Medical Laboratory Science professionals of the highest quality, competence and dedication, who will provide effective diagnostic laboratory services, teaching and research leadership for addressing the health needs of West Africa and the global community.

WAPCMLS 4th Regional Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting: Cotonou 2024
WAPCMLS announces the commencement of admission and invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates for admission into the 4-year postgraduate Fellowship Training programme of College in the following Faculties/specialties:
WAPCMLS fellows brainstorm on Vaccine production in Nigeria at their 2023 AGM/Conference. The Conference brought together all Nigerian Fellows of the College (within and outside) and other expert scientists involved in the Science and Production of Animal and Human Vaccines to discuss Human Vaccine Production in Nigeria: The Politics, Policies, and Projections.
Meet our 2nd College President - Professor Eugene Ifeanyichukwu Ikeh. He is the current President of the College. He was elected on the 1st of November 2022 at the 3rd Annual Regional Conference of College in Accra Ghana.
